TSC 2015 has ended
Welcome to ’Toward a Science of Consciousness 2015’ the 21st annual international, interdisciplinary conference on the fundamental questions connected with conscious experience.

Toward a Science of Consciousness (TSC) is the largest and longest-running interdisciplinary conference emphasizing broad and rigorous approaches to the study of conscious awareness. Topical areas include neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, biology, quantum physics, meditation and altered states, machine consciousness, culture and experiential phenomenology. Cutting edge, controversial issues are emphasized. Held annually since 1994, the TSC conferences alternate yearly between Tucson, Arizona and various locations around the world. The University of Helsinki is proud to host TSC 2015 in the Great Hall of its neoclassical main building located in the downtown area.

NOTE: SPEAKERS CAN EDIT THEIR OWN PROFILES. EMAIL INVITATIONS TO EDIT PROFILES HAVE BEEN SEND TO ALL SPEAKERS WHOSE EMAIL THE TSC2015 ORGANIZERS HAVE. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL AND WISH TO EDIT YOUR INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT tsc-2015@helsinki.fi SO THE ORGANIZERS CAN SEND YOU THE INVITATION.

My presentation is based on a curious pattern of interlocking relationships. I will consider this pattern in five different contexts: As a mythopoeic articulation of underlying structure; as a geometric configuration of dimensional effects; as a physiological articulation of neurological... I completed a theoretical neuroscience PhD at UCL in 2009 entitled 'The Form of Consciousness'. In the PhD I constructed a quantum mathematical formalism of neural signalling that reduces to the conventional neurone doctrine at the level of the single neuron, but at the scale of... Read More →
